The activity of Mintage Scientific (former A+ Science Holding) was previously pursued in the so-called Venture part of the Vita Nova Ventures concern. Projects and companies in a developing phase, originating from academic research and university-affiliated business developments, have been gathered in the Vita Nova Venture concern. Mintage Scientific's current holdings are Vicore Pharma and I-Tech, both of which have a long history in the Vita Nova Ventures concern and in Mintage Scientific. The Company's key figures have years of experience as inventors, founders or leaders in one or both of the project companies.
Mintage Scientific sprung from its parent company Vita Nova Ventures AB (publ) this autumn. 51 % of the shares in Mintage Scientific were sold in a directed offer to the shareholders in Vita Nova Ventures. The offer was fully subscribed.
